Digital Content Producer

For Māori, storytelling has long been a way of sharing our knowledge. Our culture is passed on through storytelling and our whakapapa is gifted to us through storytelling.

We can learn through the experiences of others, which is why we’re looking for someone who has a creative eye, to capture our people’s stories through video.

We’re looking for a person with prior experience or the ability to develop digital content for Safekids’ social media and other digital platforms. A person with an established or developing creative practice and skills in one or more of the following:

  • Te Reo me ōna Tikanga and/or Pacific Peoples’ language(s)

  • contributing to the development of creative concepts

  • script writing

  • creating storyboards an production plans for video content

  • recruiting talent

  • videography

  • photography and

  • post production and editing through to content approval

You'll work closely and collaboratively with Safekids Aotearoa staff and contractors with responsibility for communications, community engagement, policy and analysis.

Note: we will include the Vulnerable Children's Act mandatory child vetting questions when we interview shortlisted candidates.
