About this event

Online registration closes. You can also register at the door.

Who is this for?

This is for any kaimahi/ workers who engage with whānau at any level in the community. There’ll also be an opportunity to network with other kaimahi from the injury prevention space in your rohe/area.

What will I be engaged in?

This workshop is highly valued for its interactive style, the sharing of ideas and thought provoking topics. It’s definitely not a Powerpoint lecture, even though there are some slides!

At its heart, it’s about our child injury prevention in the home mahi. We learn how to get the best from our interactions with whānau both for them, and importantly for us too.

Our approach uses Pae Ora (Healthy Futures), a model that helps ensure every interaction with whānau is mana enhancing for everyone involved.’
