Starship Clinical RESEARCH Support Hub

RESEARCH support hub staff are here to help investigators with the identification of relevant resources, connect with experts, and understand processes and best practices for performing research at Starship.
Key Activities:
Support for grant development to include budget preparation
Identify funding opportunities, including grants, industry, and institutional opportunities
Provide an initial feasibility assessment and outcome to identify potential roadblocks to successful research delivery
Fully support commercial study activity from expression of interest to feasibility to pre-site selection to site initiation visit
Provide guidance on research governance processes and regulatory requirements
Provide support with ethics applications and other external regulatory submissions
Locate available clinical support services and resources, both within ADHB and external
Clinical research biostatistician consultations to help strengthen project design (refer to specific role provision)
Prepare commercial and A+ study budgets signatures and submissions
Review of clinical trial agreements and contracts
Provide contrated laboratory sample and processing links for resource mapped to protocol requirement
Tissue bank and Genomics governance guidance
Recruitment support and strategies
Data extraction and validation support
